Details

The Original and Only. Our Made in England Vintage 1460 boot is handcrafted in the original Dr. Martens factory in Northamptonshire, England. Made the same way for over 60 years, this special version of our 8-eye boot is crafted on the same production line where it all began. We use Quilon, a corrected grain leather with rich colour and contrasting base colour, for a vintage appearance that becomes more yours with every wear. The two-tone, air-cushioned sole is secured with our instantly recognisable yellow welt stitching, and the heel loop is signed in gold script.

75% Textile, 25% Leather

100% PVC

Material

Quilon Leather is crafted using traditional processes and features a contrast base colour for a two-tone finish.

Care Instructions

Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply correct coloured wax based shoe polish to restore colour and shine level as desired.

Construction

This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
